During the coronavirus pandemic Percy Short & Cuthbert LLP remains open for business and we continue to provide legal services to our existing and new clients. Our office base is open to our clients and members of the public, but any face to face meetings is strictly by prior arrangement only, and provided that compliance with the Government’s Covid-19 guidance can be implemented, including social distancing. Whilst our objective is to remain fully operational, there will be some delays in the current unprecedent times, although we are doing our best to keep this to a minimum.
We request that correspondence is sent to us by email as a preferred mode of communication, either to the fee earner dealing with the matter or to email@example.com, although we give notice that we do not accept service by email or fax.
These are unprecedented times and we take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and continued cooperation.
Percy Short & Cuthbert LLP is a firm of solicitors established in the Holloway area of North London for more than 100 years. We are proud to be a “High Street practice” looking after the needs of private individuals and small to medium sized businesses. We provide legal services in areas such as property conveyancing, litigation, commercial law, family law, child abduction, wills and probate matters and, unlike many firms, we still act for publicly funded Legal Aid clients in criminal cases.
Doing our best for and being fair to clients is central to our business. We are committed to providing high quality, affordable legal services and offer a personal service, as part of which your case will be handled primarily by one member of the firm. We endeavour to return clients’ telephone calls and respond to clients’ letters within 24 working hours. Whilst we believe in tradition, we also embrace change where it is of benefit to our clients. We have modern offices in central Holloway and regularly implement new technology to improve our ways of communicating and working.
We believe that we offer continuity in a changing world and much of our work comes from clients for whom we have acted previously or their recommendations. We have also obtained the Law Society's Lexcel accreditation for our practice management procedures, including in relation to the client care we provide, and we have been accepted onto the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme for our property conveyancing work.
We are retaining our telephone (020 7700 0265), fax (020 7607 2489) and DX (38653 Holloway) numbers. Our email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and website address (www.percyshort.co.uk) are not changing either.
This firm does not accept service by email or fax.
